CSI Box Set

CSI is a television sensation and there have been many ways that this popular show has branched out. Many people cannot go a week without watching this show and the following has been amazing. Chances are there is one CSI that you like to watch and one that you think is better than all of the others. CSI is a longstanding program and this can be a very difficult achievement in the world of television.

The series originally was located in Las Vegas and follows crime scene investigators throughout their lives. This includes their professional lives at work, and also their personal lives which allow you to get to know each character a little better. There is normally a very bloody and violent crime scene involved in each show and this has been duplicated over the years, but CSI was the pioneer bringing this kind of crime scene to television.

Dr. Ray Langston played by Lawrence Fishburne and he was a medical doctor that started off as a level 1 CSI specialist. On his very first day at the CSI lab, Dr. Langston is held hostage and this was a very exciting episode. This was a very troubling day for the new recruit, but he had some longstanding roles on the show and was a beloved character.

Catherine Willows was given the night shift on the show and when Gil Grissom retired she was promoted to his position. Catherine originally started off as a lab tech and worked her way up through the ranks. She had a very troubling relationship with her ex husband and at one point during the show he is shot. Catherine’s dad is also shot during the show and he dies in her arms leaving a very memorable TV moment.

Dr. Grissom is one of the more memorable faces on the show and as he was quite an introvert, many people loved this character. Although he seems like the father figure on the show, it is later revealed that he is in a relationship with Sara Sidle and eventually proposes to her. He eventually retires and there is an episode where it shows him kissing Sara Sidle in a Rainforest in Costa Rica. Grissom does not show up in the ninth season which was a major disappointment to his fans, but he wanted to pursue stage acting further.

CSI continues to be strong to this day and there are many people that tune in each week to see where the excitement will lead next.
